you an amount of cash to pay for their transaction and the amount they gave you
isn't on one of the quick buttons just type in the amount they gave you and
press cash. The drawer will open and the screen will tell you how much money you
owe them. The second way to use the cash button is if the customer gives you the
exact amount of the total in cash. You don't have to type in the total all you
have to do is press the cash button and the computer will know that they are giving
you the exact amount in cash.
Check - To use the check button if the customer is paying with a check you
have to first type in the amount the customer is writing the check for and then
you hit the check button. After hitting the button a screen will appear asking you

then hit the new button and create a new customer. If you need to create a new customer

Credit or Debit, and the transaction is finalized.

Misc Tender 1, 2 & 3 - There are three buttons that may be programmed
by the store for payment types that are not already available. Examples are "Lottery
Paidout", "Trade", "Offline Credit", etc. If your store

the subtotal side of the screen letting you know how much the gratuity was.

pricing on a large order for their company outing. The entire order may be rung
up and saved. It can be recalled later by any cashier. The discount pricing and
special instructions will also be recalled. This allows your customer to pick up
their order at any time and not be required to wait until you are available.
Suspend Transaction - Allows you to suspend this transaction. Typically this
is used when a customer realizes that his wallet is in the car and other customers
are waiting in line behind him. Rather than voiding the entire transaction then
re-ringing it when he comes back in, use this button to save the transaction. Saved
transactions are stored under the Cashier ID. When the customer comes back with
his wallet, the cashier will click the "Recall Transaction" button in
the "Sale" screen. The suspend transaction feature may also be used when
the Station is having internet difficulty (or any other equipment issues). The cashier
may suspend the transaction, log off the station with the problem, move to another
station (one that is functioning properly), and recall the transaction to contiue
waiting on the customer.
